As Client Liaison, Gaston supports State, Local, and Education sectors with capabilities and emerging tech that are customized to their organization requirements. Gaston’s engagement is in advance of solicitations to understand and determine their mission, then analyze our solutions plus the array of Westwind contract vehicles to identify how to best implement client plans. Ultimately, Gaston answers the question, “How can Westwind make it easier to do business?”
Gaston participates in many events including New Mexico Technology Council Summit, NewSpace Nexus, Kirtland AFB Partnership Committee, NM Quantum Computing, UNM Rainforest Innovations, and Connect NM. Gaston supports our additive manufacturing subsidiary Roadrunner 3D for brand awareness or IoT for “Smart Community” and Public Safety that are innovation-driven.
Gaston has Former Fed experience navigating DOE, DOC, and NASA Small Business Programs at the headquarters level. He has a background with Primes such as Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics IT, and HPE. Additionally, he has small business collaboration project teams experience, both subbing and priming. Gaston engages in pertinent industry and emerging tech research to stay apprised of potential impacts on our computer, our customers, and our company.
